Victims of crime
Executive Director of the NGO Victims of Crime, which she founded with her husband after suffering a violent assault in her home. The objective was to provide legal advice and psychological support to victims of violent acts and crimes (2006-2008). The care program developed by the NGO was implemented in several municipalities and later throughout Chile through the Ministry of the Interior.

100 Women Leaders Award
Her mobilizing work on behalf of crime victims earned her selection as one of the 100 Leading Women of 2006, a prestigious annual award given by the newspaper El Mercurio and Mujeres Empresarias.

Working with female inmates
Her experience in the NGO allowed her to connect with those who commit crimes, raising the need to develop projects in favor of female inmates. Among others, she invited women deprived of liberty from the San Joaquín Prison in Santiago to be part of the group of collaborators of the international exhibition Metáfora vegetal (Madrid, 2024).
