"In the collages I imitate and evoke processes of nature and pay tribute to it with organic materials, original in their origin, in order to turn our gaze towards the earth.
So the act of constructing a collage is the same as when I work the land; bent over and with my head down, I assemble, weave and disassemble until I achieve some interpretation of the forms that I have learned in my job as a gardener, because going out into the garden is entering into our essence"...
Oil paintings
"Studies on gardens in oil on linen imitating forms that I learn in my own garden, which I care for with my own hands. Within a garden you learn to contemplate the passage of time, to know about cycles, to vibrate in the flowering seasons, to understand silences. I also understand that plants are living beings tied to the earth and that this condition has led them to develop skills to survive, transforming them into a collaborative, balanced, intelligent, respectful, generous, wise and resilient "society". Values that should be deployed in all areas of our lives in order to coexist respectfully with our environment."
